Flowers are restful to look at. They have neither emotions nor conflicts. - Sigmund Freud Observe a flower, witness natural beauty. A flower can teach us about life. We are attracted towards their beauty, their nature. Beauty, stillness, simplicity, rootedness to the earth, Divinely aligned and connected to Source. Never competing, living harmoniously with life. Providing sweet nectar for those in need, providing shade for those seeking rest. Living humbling, quietly among those seemingly taller, stronger; among those who dwarf it. Existing simultaneously with prickly roses, among the dark bushes . . . never judging, simply accepting what is.
From just a small seed, the flower exudes simplicity and awesomeness of God's creation. Each tiny seed - contains all that's needed for life. With alignment to the light, to Source, it is naturally drawn to the straight path -- back to true nature, to Essence, to Truth. Legendary American artist Georgia O’Keeffe once said, “When you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it’s your world for the moment.” Every flower is a soul blossoming in nature. In that way, their life lessons are many. Neither us nor them can blossom without love and sunshine. Living harmoniously with nature, taking in energy, filling from the core, the flower emanates Light. Opening tenderly, beautifully, aromatically, revealing the heart, the flower is the portal to the soul – open, allowing God's light to enter and be reflected. Like flowers, we, too, can shine our light out into the world, sharing our love, our warm glow with the universe, allowing our cup to be filled, over and over again. Flowers spread their fragrance in the direction of the wind. With mindfulness, we can cultivate a beautiful inner garden. With awareness of thoughts, words, and actions . . . with gratitude for paying attention to the tiniest bloom, by paying attention to the flowers in the garden, never by the leaves that fall or the weeds that grow, can we spread our unique fragrance. This quiet give-and-take or flow with life, coupled with gratitude and appreciation for what is, facilitates growth, to bloom, a life full of joy, harmony, balance, prosperity, peace, happiness, and abundance. May you find time to cultivate your garden, to fill your atmosphere with gloriously delicious fragrance, and to attract more of the same. xo Jewels
