These questions have everything to do with energy. You are energy. Everything is energy. Awareness of energy is crucial if you want to make change.
In today's modern world, filled with electronic gadgetry and instantaneous access to information, we are perpetually bombarded by stimuli, constantly connected to things that are draining us of our energy (ie. newspaper, computer, iPhone, iPad, microwave, t.v., radio) and overwhelming our nervous systems. Most of the time our attention is so absorbed in multitasking; we behave mindlessly rather than intentionally.
As we race to beat the clock, time quickly disappears. Never fully enjoying the moment, we may eat while reading the newspaper, check emails while helping children with homework, or run through our “to do” lists in our minds while driving.
If we're not careful, our energies can become depleted from the many energy vampires sucking the life out of us.
LEARN TO MASTER THE MIND
The mind needs to be directed. It needs things orderly. It wants to label or identify in order to make sense or meaning of life. It likes simplicity and organization. If the mind is not gently guided or told exactly what to do or how to think, it will dictate, making us it's slave.

AWARENESS OF SOURCE ENERGY
Allowing ourselves to re-connect with our innate power, to the Source within us, reminds us of our potential for creation. Stepping out of the time-pressured rat race for slowing down just a bit, to simplify our lives, can happen when we decide to make up our minds -- to commit to resting in awareness -- from moment-to-moment, for being willing to stay in the question.
When we can give up the need to be right and allow for what is, we can accept uncertainty and become curious and allow circumstances, good or bad, to teach us life lessons.
STAYING IN THE QUESTION
Are you ready to allocate the next fifteen minutes towards investigating your interior landscape? Can you tap out of the chaos for just fifteen minutes? Are you excited to tap into what your mind and body are trying to tell you? Are you ready to sit in wonder, to unveil hidden treasures - to discover your inner jewels?
Pay attention. Notice your feelings.
Connecting with energy means "simply becoming in touch what your thinking and notice how your thinking can affect how your feeling." Present moment awareness will open you to opportunities for inviting self love and forgiveness so you'll want to share this newfound love & forgiveness with others.
Sending loving, healing energy feels joyful and creates feelings of thankfulness and abundance. This inner bliss provides a genuine willingness and true desire for delving deeper, for diving further into interior connection with Source and for discovering the inner peace that can only be experienced first hand.
BECOMING Mindful . . .
If we could just take a little time to push the pause button, we can find necessary space for joyful discovery. Only by creating space, a healthy distance to become witness to our thoughts, can we truly begin purposefully connecting with and enjoying the moment. For noticing the energy or life within each of us, we become more mindful, and we begin truly living -- with greater ease and abundance.
Wouldn't doing what you want to do feel liberating? Why aren't you allowing yourself to do what you want? Have you asked yourself why you aren't allowing yourself to take a moment to breathe?
So how can you begin to get touch with your energy?
Simple. In stillness and with focused awareness on your breath.
Our breath carries energy – or "prana" – our life force.
CONSCIOUS BREATHING VISUALIZATION EXERCISE:
Feel your breath as it enters into your nostrils.
Breath in deeply from your chest.
Now inhale deeply from deep down from your belly.
Now breath in deeply from the earth.
With your next strong, clean, crisp inhalation, imagine white light flooding into your body as it enters once again in from the earth.
Each time your breath arrives at your feet, send it all out to the Earth.
Finally, envision white light surrounding your entire body, protecting your aura.
