Consciously Connecting With Source Energy

Do you feel consumed by life– tired, overwhelmed, irritable a lot of the time? Do you feel jittery, anxious, with stores of nervous energy just waiting to be expressed?

How are you using your time? What's draining your energy? How do you refuel?


These questions have everything to do with energy.  You are energy.  Everything is energy.  Awareness of energy is crucial if you want to make change.

In today's modern world, filled with electronic gadgetry and instantaneous access to information, we are perpetually bombarded by stimuli, constantly connected to things that are draining us of our energy (ie. newspaper, computer, iPhone, iPad, microwave, t.v., radio) and overwhelming our nervous systems. Most of the time our attention is so absorbed in multitasking; we behave mindlessly rather than intentionally.

As we race to beat the clock, time quickly disappears. Never fully enjoying the moment, we may eat while reading the newspaper, check emails while helping children with homework, or run through our “to do” lists in our minds while driving. 


If we're not careful, our energies can become depleted from the many energy vampires sucking the life out of us.

LEARN TO MASTER THE MIND

​The mind needs to be directed.
  It needs things orderly.  It wants to label or identify in order to make sense or meaning of life. It likes simplicity and organization. If the mind is not gently guided or told exactly what to do or how to think, it will dictate, making us it's slave.

  • An unfocused mind replays thoughts, and gets looped, creating a troublesome, frustrating reality. When we're unaware of the mind's incessant chatter, we fail to see how we are "doing life." 
  • An undisciplined mind has scattered thoughts, usually negative, that waste energy.  These thoughts have us preoccupied with past events or anxious and worried about the future.
  • Unable to be present in each moment, life hardly ever feels satisfying. Mindlessness generally produces anxiety, a sense of time urgency -- convincing us that “time is running out” or produces feelings of nostalgia, leading to a sense of hopelessness and depression as we long for “the good old days.”
  • Unaware that we have a "pause" button, our hyper-aroused systems make us hostages to our minds.  We believe that we are our thoughts.  We allow our thoughts to take us over, keeping us prisoners to fear, worry, anxiety, anger, depression and more.

OVERCOME A LACK MENTALITY
  
  • Are you aware of your pace?  Do you desire to want to slow down? If so, let your breath help you. Simply breathe consciously, a few times each day. Remembering to take deep belly breaths throughout the day will calm and ground -- to think clearly -- to notice what's happening within as well as all around us.​
  • Awareness wakes us up -- helps us to see that we have choices.  To take responsibility for the choices we are making-- and for those that we are not.
  • Once we're able to see how we are choosing to live, how we might be blaming others or circumstances for how our life seems to be playing out, we can begin moving towards acceptance. But first, we must drop the victim mentality and simply learn to accept what is.

ACCEPTANCE CREATES ABUNDANCE
  • Acceptance means simply letting go -- not giving up -- but letting go of the need to strive, to compete.  Letting go of EGO, letting go of resistance.
  • Acceptance lets us JUST BE.  TO BE without judgement, without expectations. For being is noticing -- noticing how much we actually judge ourselves and others in any given day!
  • Awareness reminds us to accept.  Acceptance reminds us that we are Source power -- that we can create whatever we want.

AWARENESS OF SOURCE ENERGY
  • Noticing energy helps us know how we are feeling:  noticing when we feel badly or when things feel right informs the brain what to think. When energy feels negative, we can choose to cut ties with certain relationships and/or bad habits.  When things feel right in our gut, the brain gets the message that the coast is clear, it can relax and assist us with clear thinking.
  • Within nature, electro-magnetic currents are constantly flowing in vibrations or energy – life is engaging through us as we speak. Energy is alive; racing through our veins. We more readily recognize energy currents as those operating household appliances and computer applications, or we notice it when the lights turn on. We feel it when our heater is working, keeping us warm. But we generally have difficulty grasping the concept of energy when it can't be “seen.”
  • Trusting the unseen requires FAITH in a greater Source -- Cosmic Energy.
  • Universal source energy is omnipresent and sustains all things. We are loaded with miraculous energies and powers that can touch and change the world. In our current high tech society, we have become energy consumers and have forgotten that we too are magnificent producers and creators.

ALLOWANCE
Allowing ourselves to re-connect with our innate power, to the Source within us, reminds us of our potential for creation. Stepping out of the time-pressured rat race for slowing down just a bit, to simplify our lives, can happen when we decide to make up our minds -- to commit to resting in awareness -- from moment-to-moment
, for being willing to stay in the question.

When we can give up the need to be right and allow for what is, we can accept uncertainty and become curious and allow circumstances, good or bad, to teach us life lessons.

STAYING IN THE QUESTION

Are you ready to allocate the next fifteen minutes towards investigating your interior landscape? Can you tap out of the chaos for just fifteen minutes? Are you excited to tap into what your mind and body are trying to tell you?  Are you ready to sit in wonder, to unveil hidden treasures - to discover your inner jewels?  

Pay attention.  Notice your feelings. 

Connecting with energy means "simply becoming in touch what your thinking and notice how your thinking can affect how your feeling."  Present moment awareness will open you to opportunities for inviting self love and forgiveness so you'll want to share this newfound love & forgiveness with others.

Sending loving, healing energy feels joyful and creates feelings of thankfulness and abundance.  This inner bliss provides a genuine willingness and true desire for delving deeper, for diving further into interior connection with Source and for discovering the inner peace that can only be experienced first hand.

BECOMING Mindful . . .
​

If we could just take a little time to push the pause button, we can find necessary space for joyful discovery.  Only by creating space, a healthy distance to become witness to our thoughts, can we truly begin purposefully connecting with and enjoying the moment.  For noticing the energy or life within each of us, we become more mindful, and we begin truly living -- with greater ease and abundance.

Wouldn't doing what you want to do feel liberating?  Why aren't you allowing yourself to do what you want?  Have you asked yourself why you aren't allowing yourself to take a moment to breathe?
  • Owning each moment reframes how we see time so we can't see others as “taking time” aways from us.  Instead, there's no one to blame except ourselves.
  • Making every moment our own is the essence of mindfulness. Hurrying, making lists, reminiscing, or planning for the future is okay as long as we're aware . . .  aware of our breathing and aware of what we're thinking and doing.  Awareness can help us to lighten up a little, to enjoy the process a bit more, and to learn how to relax intentionally (self-regulate) so that we can feel more in control and become playful once again.
  • Carving out time for mindfulness allows us to get in touch with our bodies -- for noticing sensations, for noticing the triggers causing our hearts to beat faster, our palms to sweat, our muscles to tense up, and for "seeing" the thoughts racing through our heads.  
  • Mindfulness is consciously connecting, putting us back into the driver's seat and allowing us to make better choices about how we want to spend our time, for how we want to consciously choose to live our life.
  • By focusing energy in the present moment, we can gain a sense of agency over our lives; we gain a sense of control as we feel more organized and hopeful.

So how can you begin to get touch with your energy?

Simple. In stillness and with focused awareness on your breath.
Our breath carries energy – or "prana" – our life force.

CONSCIOUS BREATHING VISUALIZATION EXERCISE:

Feel your breath as it enters into your nostrils.  
  • Trace your breath as it moves throughout your body.
  • Simply allow it to enter in and run it up through to the top of your head.
  • Now, exhale and run the breath back down past through your eyes, down the back of your nose, your throat, and feel it pass through your shoulders.
  • Allow your breath to gently pass down each arm, and let it run out through your fingertips.

Breath in deeply from your chest.  
  • Watch the breath as it enters in deeply into your chest.
  • Feel it rest at your chest – open into your heart chakra.
  • Pause and stay here for a few breaths.

Now inhale deeply from deep down from your belly.  
  • Rest your hand on your belly and feel your belly expand like a balloon on your in breath.  
  • Breathe up into your solar plexus, just above your navel.
  • Breathe up into your heart, into your shoulders, neck and head and then take a long, slow exhalation, breathing back down from your head, neck, shoulders, solar plexus, navel, and lowering the breath into your coccyx, into your first chakra – the root chakra.
  • Stay here for a few breaths Sit here. Feel rooted --like a tree. Feel your roots firmly planted, connect with the ground. Just Breathe.

Now breath in deeply from the earth.  
  • Bring the energy up from the ground, all the way up through your feet, into your legs, run it all the way up to your head.
  • Exhale slowly, bring the energy back down and out --back through your legs and through your feet.
  • Send all your stale air through your feet into the earth.  Let the earth absorb any stagnant, dark energy that you blew out from your body. Send it all into the earth.  Allow the earth to transmute this energy.

With your next strong, clean, crisp inhalation, imagine white light flooding into your body as it enters once again in from the earth.
  • Send this white healing energy all the up into your feet, up all the way through your entire body, all the way up to crown or top of your head.
  • Visualize loving white, cleansing energy entering back in from the crown and bring this light back down all the way to your feet.
  • Continue breathing in and out -- As you're breathing in . . . bring white healing energy up from the feet and as you're breathing out, imagine that white healing energy going back down from the crown and out through your feet.
  • Imagine this healing and clearing cleansing your body, deeply galvanizing your cells, removing all negativity.

Each time your breath arrives at your feet, send it all out to the Earth.
  • Allow Mother Earth to transmute all negativity into loving white energy.
  • Allow Her to reenergize, ground, and nurture you.
  • Thank Her for Her grounding nurturance.

Finally, envision white light surrounding your entire body, protecting your aura.
  • This protective bubble of white light will shield you from negativity that's draining your energy.
  • Feel this pure, clean energy enliven and refresh your body from the inside out.
  • Enjoy how this feels.
  • Sit with this feeling.
  • Seal this feeling with the image of pink light enveloping your body -- pink light allows love in and out, but still protects.

LOVING KINDNESS ENERGY VISUALIZATION EXERCISE:

Now you are ready to send out healing protection to others
  • Send loving protection to whomever you choose.
  • Vividly imagine every detail about the person you are sending love and light.
  • Imagine his or her face while sending white healing light from your heart.
  • From the heart, begin to breath in and bring that loving warm energy all the way up to your third eye, the spot right between your eyebrows.
  • Now, lovingly direct that healing energy into the third eye of your chosen recipient.
  • Smile lovingly while surrounding your recipient in white protective light.
  • Stay with this feeling of love, envisioning white healing light while mentally sending loving thoughts and healing energy.

    Life-time student, grateful wife and mother to three boys (29, 26, 21) and a loyal, loving Parson Russell Terrier (13).  

    Blessed to spend nine years living out on the West Coast in self-discovery.  Years that brought well-needed space and recovery -- healing, perspective, appreciation and balance -- providing readiness for returning back to the East Coast (since 2013) in order to care for elderly parents and to pursue my  true work.  

    Thanks to Eckhart Tolle, Bikram Yoga, Guru Paramahansa Yogananda & SRF, running, writing, and doTERRA essential oils as they have been instrumental resources/tools for realizing and rediscovering who I am -- helping me to become aware, to find strength, balance, and inner peace.  

    I am most grateful for divine guidance and timing as the universe aligned me with Dr. David Berceli, gifting me TRE®, the perfect complementary healing modality that is allowing me to take healing into my own hands.   With consistent TRE practice, I am currently completely pain free and feeling calmly energized, grounded, and empowered.  
    It has given me resiliency so that I am now able to thrive rather than simply survive. I am now navigating life's challenges with greater ease and grace.   

    Recently, I trained with Don Conreaux, Master of the Gong.  I am incorporating sound healing into TRE sessions, also emphasizing breath work, visualizations, affirmations, and aromatherapy.  This work continues to amaze me as it is so simple, yet so powerfully effective!

    My life mission is to help others to access their innate healing powers so to ground the soul Self so one can become self-supporting.  

    ​My work is an extension of my joy and appreciation for everything I've experienced, suffered, and learned and uncovered, especially between 2007 until now.
