We are living in a hectic time with a lot of emotion coming to the surface. We are also living at a time when there is an abundance of light available to us, from the higher realm, ready and waiting to assist us.
We simply need the know-how for accessing our Light, to open up our hearts and to connect with the abundance of light streaming all around us. Once accessed, we can bring it into our bodies.
There can be consequences and high costs involved when we ignore or fail to heed the body's warning signs. Warnings are often signaling us to pull over to refuel.
-- We must stop & pay to refuel our cars with gasoline, but the breath costs us nothing. While breath is free, there's still a charge if you want it: conscious breathing gives us a full charge! The indescribable healing charge of cosmic energy.
While breathing is a gift, freely received, requiring little to no effort, it has a special feature. Unlike the heart, the lungs, and our other major organs that automatically operate our bodily functions, the breath can be controlled manually, willfully, mindfully.

We come into this life with a preprogrammed, pre-determined packaged amount of breaths before our final expiration.
The breath is a unique gift, a specific tool we can consciously use to access spirit -- to gain a sense of control and mastery over our lives.
Accessing our higher Light with our breath can help us cleanse and clear negative emotions that are making us feel uncomfortable and in pain.
Learning how to ground and release energy blockages is easier to do when things are going well. So practice is key. Daily, consistent practice will make release possible for when we are caught in tough times.
Connecting with the ocean of Light above and rooting, or anchoring light energy, deeply into the ground beneath us, brings the self into alignment with Source energy.
The breath is a convenient tool that's readily available to help us, to help us take a step back, to observe, and to choose how to respond. With focused practice, the breath can serve as our alert system, much like the warning lights in our automobile, reminding us when it's time to pull over to refuel. While we may not like paying for gasoline, we must pull over and gas up when the red light indicates.
But freeing ourselves from becoming prisoners of time takes conscious action in order to bypass the thinking mind. We are free to choose. Sometimes we forget. Making necessary changes -- noticing patterns of thinking, mistaken beliefs -- is difficult to do from the mind. We need to use the breath to access the body, to get to the heart.
Today can be the first step towards honoring yourself. And it all starts with attention to your breath.
